Truth is stranger than fiction

Wait long enough and events a novelist envisiones for his new novel will come out in some newspaper somewhere in the US. A corrupt sheriff in Mississippi has been indicted on 31 counts including retaliating against people he considered personal or political foes, fraud, extortion, embezzlement, witness tampering and perjury.

Just goes to prove the old saw that every professional class has a criminal element in it.

Well--Sheriff Bud Pinsky, in my new about-to-come-out-novel, AS ALL MY FATHERS WERE, is not that bad but he has the same character flaws within him and it causes great problems for the Barret family as the brothers strive to complete the Platte River trip as dictated by their mother's will and Ginny works to keep the ranch alive during their absence.

In the meantime get a copy of my latest novel, THE CUT OF PRIDE and live with Jeff Baker as he strives to overcome daily crises' of a dysfunctional family for just the short period he needs to be working on that isolated mink ranch.
