It didn't take too long. I started thinking about it and realized the God had already set up the restoration process when he built this world. He figured on people being in it because he made them. He knew they would not be perfect so He planned the whole pollution thingy out and then in a sober moment transmitted it to me while I pondered this blog.
1. Water is dirtied by use. All things dump into it, animals, humans, the land, etc. The surface of the water is evaporated into the atmosphere, cleaned, and returned to earth as rain, hail, snow etc. which is distilled water. Good. Dirty water becomes clean. You can't destroy water you can only change it.
2. Air is dirtied by what man puts into it and what God puts into it, ie forest fires and volcanoes. Latest info is that forest fires and volcanoes put 99% of the carbon into the atmosphere. He must have figured on that as well. So, dirty air gets cleaned by being absorbed by the ocean and the green stuff like trees and bushes and they in turn spin off oxygen which human and animals need to live.
Pretty good so far, huh? Now for #3.
3. Land is dirtied by animals and man and nature. Used to be little pollution from small human population but large animal population. Now bigger pollution from many people and many animals but rains, floods, and glacier melts wash pollutants into the running water which ends up in the ocean. The ocean is the hard worker. It has to clean the carbon dioxide from the air and the junk in the water washing into it. Some say it can handle it--some say it can't. Some say humans are killing the ocean and if it dies we all die.
Where does it start and where does it stop? That's what my protagonists work on in my new novel out this November, AS ALL MY FATHERS WERE. Where do you--my reader--come down on this?
