NW Indian land trade
A recent article by the Associated Press treated a proposed exchange of lands between the Federal Government and the Umpqua and Siuslaw Indians. This is the type of exchange between private parties, the Fed's and the Indian Tribes that I treat in my award winning novel, The Most Expensive Mistress in Jefferson County.
Are you in favor of making these exchanges 150 years after the battles are over and settlements have been made?
